[Use Case] Drive Recorder in Production Site - Automotive Parts Manufacturer

Introducing a case study of an automotive parts manufacturer! A high-speed camera that visualizes on-site challenges.

We would like to introduce a case study of the automotive parts manufacturer utilizing the drive recorder 'RekamoMA' equipped with a high-speed camera in their production site. This is a case where we analyzed the causes of brief stops (choko-tei) on the parts assembly and transport line. There are high-speed digital cameras sold as general household appliances. We have received numerous inquiries about capturing brief stops with such cameras, but they often do not yield satisfactory results. Even if the frame rate (number of frames per second) is high, if the light is insufficient or the shutter speed is not appropriate, the images can become blurry or too dark. We resolved such issues in the following case. [Case Study] - Industry: Automotive parts manufacturer - Problem: - They had tried high-speed consumer digital cameras and drive recorders, but could not capture the desired image quality. - Proposal: - We proposed the simple RekamoMA Basic with a single camera configuration. - Selected a camera capable of bright shooting at a high frame rate. - Successfully captured clear images by adjusting the strobe and shutter speed. *For more details, please contact us through the inquiry form below.

[Use Case] Drive Recorder in Production Site - Food Manufacturer

Introducing a case study of a food manufacturer! A high-speed camera that visualizes on-site challenges.

We will introduce a case study of the food manufacturer utilizing the drive recorder 'RekamoMA' in a production site that employs a high-speed camera. It is used for addressing chocolate stoppage issues in the product packaging bagging equipment. The existing camera system was unable to capture these occurrences. Chocolate stoppages can happen several times a day or just a few times a month, among various other scenarios. [Case Study] ■Industry: Food Manufacturer ■Problem: Want to capture with a high-speed camera, but there is no space for lighting installation. Abnormal occurrences are irregular, making it difficult for people to observe and capture them. ■Proposal: RekamoMA Basic Adopt a camera from high frame rate options that can shoot brightly. Combine with gain adjustment for imaging. Capture in conjunction with the equipment's abnormal signal. *For more details, please click the inquiry form below or the link to 'RekamoMA' below.

[84% Reduction in Chocolate Stops] Case studies on the introduction of equipment drive recorders are now available.

Measures against chocolate stalls have shifted from experience and intuition to a data-driven scientific approach. High-speed cameras that visualize on-site challenges.

"RekamoMA" is a drive recorder for production sites that uses high-speed cameras. By displaying images and waveforms, it allows for effortless visualization of on-site issues. By simply setting up recording where you want to see, you can go back and capture only the desired parts, freeing you from having to stay attached to the equipment until the issue can be reproduced. 【Recommended for those facing these issues!】 ■ Workpieces fall, causing minor stops in the next process ■ Instances of workpiece drops ■ Equipment collisions occur ■ Relying on intuition for minor stop countermeasures ■ Requires manpower to observe causes 【Voices from companies that have implemented it】 In a line that continuously processes automotive parts, we were troubled by the phenomenon of workpieces falling when the loader moved them to the next process, which occurred in various stages. In response, we adopted the Rekamo MA Basic model, capturing images from just before the error occurred to the recovery operation, and worked to quickly clarify the cause of the error. As a result... *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

[Use Case] Drive Recorder in Production Site - Beverage Manufacturer

Introducing a case study from a beverage manufacturer! A high-speed camera that visualizes on-site challenges.

We would like to introduce a case study of the drive recorder 'RekamoMA', which utilizes a high-speed camera in a production site for a beverage manufacturer. This case study demonstrates how it became possible to confirm abnormalities occurring in the bottling process of the product. The abnormalities were too fast to be confirmed visually, and even after stopping the line to check after an abnormality occurred, the cause could not be identified. There were also instances where the product was simply allowed to flow through without confirmation. Additionally, the process was dark, making filming difficult. The bottle line being filmed operates at approximately 1000 bpm. 【Case Study】 ■Industry: Beverage Manufacturer ■Problems: - The filming subject moves at high speed, making it impossible to see visually (at least 480 fps is required) - Need to film two locations simultaneously - Desire for high-speed filming, but the filming environment was dark ■Proposal: - Suggested the RekamoMA Multi (2 cameras) that supports multiple cameras - By adopting a 750 fps camera (USB 3.0, cable length limitation of 8m), clear images can be captured - Synchronized recording of two locations - Both cameras are linked to our strobe, enabling high-speed filming even in dark locations *For inquiries regarding details, please click the inquiry form below or the link to 'RekamoMA' below.

[Use Case] Drive Recorder in Production Site - Automobile Manufacturer

Introducing examples from automobile manufacturers! Improvement, maintenance, equipment management, and development/testing all in one device! A high-speed camera that visualizes on-site challenges.

We will introduce a case study of the automotive manufacturer's use of the drive recorder 'RekamoMA' in production sites using high-speed cameras. By incorporating the core module of RekamoMA into the equipment, we capture welding spatter with the camera and synchronize it with waveform data for storage. This contributes to quality improvement through automatic judgment. 【Effects】 Improvement of quality in the manufacturing process 【Recommended for those facing these issues!】 ■ Workpieces falling, causing minor stops in the next process ■ Occurrence of workpiece drops ■ Equipment collisions occurring ■ Relying on intuition for minor stop countermeasures ■ Requiring manpower to observe causes *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

[Use Case] Drive Recorders in Production Sites - Automotive Parts Manufacturing

Introducing a case study in automotive parts manufacturing! Achieved an 84% reduction in downtime! High-speed cameras that visualize on-site challenges.

We would like to introduce a case study on the use of the high-speed camera-based production site drive recorder 'RekamoMA' in automotive parts manufacturing. By capturing machining processes with a high-speed camera, we implemented measures to address the causes of short stops. The number of short stops has decreased by 84% compared to before implementation. There has also been a record of zero defective products flowing out to customers for 10 consecutive months. 【Effects】 ■ Reduction in work time ■ Cost reduction due to decrease in defects 【Recommended for those facing these issues!】 ■ Workpieces tipping over, causing short stops in the next process ■ Occurrence of workpiece drops ■ Equipment collisions ■ Relying on intuition for short stop measures ■ Labor-intensive observation of causes *For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.
